Western Leaders Network is hosting its inaugural gathering in Washington, DC, March 6-7, 2019. Join us in our nation’s capital for briefings on current and emerging issues in the West; meetings with federal officials; and trainings on governing and working with state and federal officials.
WLN has reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriot Washington Downtown Convention Center/Residence Inn. When you mention that you are participating in the Western Leaders Network Summit, the rates are $289.00 per night which includes a hot breakfast buffet each morning. February 13 is the last day to book your room.
The registration deadline is February 25.
The summit is for local and tribal elected officials from the Interior West states — Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Space is limited, and priority will be given to local (county commissioners, town and city council members, mayors, electric cooperative board directors) and tribal elected leaders. The $200 registration fee includes the reception on March 6 and breakfast, lunch, dinner and all trainings and events on March 7.
Participants should plan to arrive in Washington for the WLN evening reception at 5:30 p.m. March 6, and plan to depart Friday, March 8.
A very limited number of travel, lodging and/or registration fee scholarships will be available, which must be applied for by February 8 by contacting Western Leaders Network at email@example.com.
