Free and fair elections are the foundation of American democracy, but the people and systems that make democracy work are facing significant challenges.

We’re asking candidates, elected officials, election administrators, and civic leaders to publicly commit to a set of basic democratic principles: accepting and certifying lawful election results regardless of outcome, standing against the harassment and intimidation of election workers, opposing false information about voting and results, ensuring ballot access for all eligible voters, and refraining from unsubstantiated claims of fraud.
